Our Doctor

Dr. Salam Awad, D.D.S

Dr. Awad holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Michigan and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy school of Dentistry.

She also was awarded “Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award” three years in a row, American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement award, Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Award, and the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Society Award. Dr. Awad is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and has taken many educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics.

Dr. Awad is an active member of the dental community, and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Implant Association, and National Honor Society for Dentistry.

She is currently residing in Dearborn with her Husband, Ramadan and two children. In her free time she enjoys jogging, reading, spending time with family.

Dana

Joined the SmilePro team in January 2019 as our Patient Coordinator. She has over 21 years of experience in the field. Her easy caring way is appreciated by our patients. Dana treats everyone as her friend creating a cheerful environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and family, and decorating cakes.

Alicia

Graduated with her associates in Dental Hygiene in 2006. She is truly passionate about her career and is more than confident to show it. Alicia always greets her patients with the brightest smile, making them feel comfortable and has them leaving with a brighter smile. She is married with two children. In her free time she enjoys running, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Linda

Linda our front office team leader brings over 25 years’ of dental experience to our practice. With her knowledge she assists our patients with their insurance coverage and appointment scheduling. In her free time Linda enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
