“Dr Salam Awad is a general and cosmetic dentist whose practice focuses on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Her practice philosophy is to create beautiful smiles and to build lasting relationships with her patients by treating them with respect, kindness, and a gentle touch.

Dr. Awad holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Michigan and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy school of Dentistry. She also was awarded “Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award” three years in a row, American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement award, Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Award, and the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Society Award. Dr. Awad is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and has taken many educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics. Dr. Awad is an active member of the dental community, and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners. 

Dr. Awad is committed to continuing dental education. She is a member of the Spear Study Club, which includes a small group of dentists dedicated to achieving superior diagnosis and treatment for their patients. She is currently residing in Dearborn with her Husband, Ramadan and two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, jogging and exploring new places.
